Start here
The platform, your first visit and choosing a treatment.
The basicsWhat is Venus Versa Pro?
Venus Versa Pro is a platform with different applicators for radiofrequency and Intense Pulsed Light treatments. The handpiece and treatment method are chosen for the concern being assessed; the services do not all work in the same way.
The basicsWhat is the difference between IPL and RF?
IPL uses pulses of light to address selected pigment, visible vascular, acne or hair concerns, depending on the applicator. RF uses radiofrequency energy: some applicators warm the skin for firmness, while NanoFractional RF creates controlled resurfacing zones. Their preparation and recovery requirements differ.
The basicsDo Venus treatments involve surgery or injections?
The Venus services on this website are non-surgical and do not involve injectable medication. RF skin tightening and IPL are different from NanoFractional RF resurfacing, which creates controlled treatment zones in the skin and needs a recovery plan.
Before your visitDo I need to choose the exact treatment before booking?
No. Start with Face Analysis if you are unsure. Bring the concerns you want to discuss; our aesthetician can explain which options may fit your skin, what each involves and whether another type of care is needed.
Before your visitWhat should I bring or tell the clinic before my visit?
Bring a list of your skincare products, medicines and supplements, plus details of previous treatments and recent sun exposure. Tell our aesthetician about implants, pregnancy or breastfeeding, cold sores, healing problems and active irritation. Share health details privately with the clinic rather than entering them in the website search.
Before your visitWhat is a test spot, and could it require a separate visit?
A test spot treats a small area so our aesthetician can assess the skin response before a larger treatment. Observation times vary by treatment and skin, so the full appointment may take place on a later day. A test spot does not rule out every possible reaction.
Before your visitCan I decide whether I am suitable from my skin tone alone?
No. The exact applicator, skin response, recent tanning and medical history all matter. IPL hair reduction, other IPL services and RF resurfacing have different restrictions. Our aesthetician must check the device-specific guidance and your skin before confirming a treatment.
Before your visitHow should I plan treatment around an event or holiday?
Tell the clinic your event and travel dates before booking. IPL can leave visible pigment changes and resurfacing can involve redness, dryness or crusting. Ask for a recovery window that fits the proposed treatment, and discuss sun exposure during any trip.
Before your visitShould I stop my medicines or active skincare before treatment?
Give our aesthetician your current product and medication list so they can advise you. Some products or medicines affect irritation, light sensitivity or healing. Do not stop or change prescribed medication based on a website answer; confirm any changes with the prescribing clinician.
AftercareWhen should I contact the clinic after a treatment?
Contact the clinic promptly about blistering, open skin, significant or worsening pain, or another unexpected or worsening reaction. Do not use a general FAQ to decide whether a reaction is harmless. Our aesthetician should assess the concern and advise on care.
VENUS VERSA PRO
RF skin tightening
Face, neck, fine lines and the appearance of firmness.
The basicsHow does RF skin tightening work?
The selected applicator delivers radiofrequency energy that warms the treatment area. Auralia’s (MP)² approach combines Multi-Polar RF with Pulsed Electro Magnetic Fields to support the appearance of skin firmness and wrinkles over time.
The basicsWhich face and neck areas can I ask about?
Auralia lists face, neck, décolleté, under-eye and brow-area options on Jane. These are areas to discuss during consultation, rather than a promise that every area is suitable. Our aesthetician confirms the applicator’s permitted use and precise treatment boundaries.
During treatmentWhat does RF skin tightening feel like?
The applicator moves across the skin and the area gradually feels warmer. Some clients compare the warmth to a warm massage, but discomfort is possible. Tell our aesthetician immediately if the heat or sensation becomes uncomfortable.
Before your visitHow long is an RF appointment?
The treatment portion is 15–30 mins per area. Allow additional time for consultation, preparation and aftercare discussion. Confirm the total appointment length when choosing the area you want treated.
The basicsWhy might RF treatments be scheduled as a series?
The approach is cumulative, so a course of appointments may be recommended. Weekly visits are commonly described in the manufacturer material, but the number and timing depend on your treatment area, assessment and response. One visit is not a guarantee of the final result.
AftercareCan I return to my routine after RF skin tightening?
Many clients resume ordinary activities soon afterward. Temporary warmth, redness, swelling, tenderness or bruising can occur. Our aesthetician will discuss any restrictions and what to watch for; this is not a promise of no visible reaction or no recovery time.
AftercareCan I wash my face or take a hot shower after RF?
The manual recommends avoiding hot water on the night after DiamondPolar treatment. Use the gentle cleansing and moisturizer our aesthetician recommends, and ask when hot showers, heat-based activities or your usual skincare can resume.
The basicsIs under-chin RF the same as fat-dissolving injections?
No. Auralia’s under-chin RF skin-tightening service focuses on the appearance of skin firmness. It does not involve fat-dissolving medication, and should not be booked on the assumption that it removes chin fat. Discuss the concern you want to address during consultation.
The basicsAre the results permanent?
Skin continues to change with age, lifestyle and sun exposure. Results develop gradually and vary, and our aesthetician may discuss maintenance after reviewing your response. No fixed amount of lifting or duration can be guaranteed.
VENUS VERSA PRO
Body contouring
Body areas, treatment plans and realistic expectations.
The basicsWhat does RF body contouring focus on?
Auralia uses radiofrequency body care to address the appearance of skin firmness and cellulite in suitable areas. The OctiPolar applicator is described in the manual for temporary body contouring. It should not be treated as a weight-loss programme.
Before your visitWhich body areas are listed at Auralia?
Jane lists abdomen/thigh options and back, arms, flanks or buttocks options. Our aesthetician will confirm the area and coverage for your appointment. A listing with several area names does not mean a single booking includes all of them.
The basicsWill body contouring make me lose weight?
This service is intended to improve the appearance of treated areas, rather than provide weight loss. Changes in firmness or the appearance of cellulite should not be translated into a promised number of kilograms or guaranteed fat removal.
During treatmentWhat is the body treatment experience like?
Our aesthetician applies a glide product and moves the applicator over the chosen area. You can expect warmth, with comfort checked throughout. Please let our aesthetician know if you feel excessive warmth or discomfort, so we can adjust the treatment and help you feel comfortable.
The basicsHow much time and how many visits should I plan for?
The treatment portion is 30 mins per area. Auralia describes courses of approximately eight to ten weekly visits for body care, but this is a planning guide. Our aesthetician confirms the actual number, spacing and total appointment time.
AftercareIs there anything to plan for after body RF?
Temporary warmth, redness, swelling or discomfort may occur. Follow the instructions for the specific area, including advice about hot water, exercise and skincare. Tell the clinic about an unexpected or worsening reaction rather than assuming it is part of normal recovery.
The basicsWill I need maintenance treatments?
A course may be followed by maintenance depending on your response and goals. Skin and body appearance continue to change, so our aesthetician will review progress with you instead of promising a permanent change after a fixed number of visits.
VENUS VERSA PRO
IPL hair reduction
Hair and skin considerations, preparation and maintenance.
The basicsIs IPL hair reduction a laser treatment?
No. IPL means Intense Pulsed Light, which uses a range of light wavelengths rather than a laser beam. The hair-reduction applicator targets pigment in hair to reduce future growth in suitable skin and hair combinations.
The basicsDoes hair colour affect the response?
Yes. IPL relies on pigment in the hair. White, grey, red and very light hair may respond poorly or be unsuitable. Our aesthetician assesses the contrast between your hair and skin, as well as the area, before recommending a course.
Before your visitIs IPL hair reduction suitable for every skin tone?
No. Eligibility depends on the exact hair applicator and its device guidance, alongside an assessment of your skin and recent sun exposure. Auralia must confirm suitability; a patch test or a statement about a different Venus treatment does not automatically make hair reduction appropriate.
Before your visitWhich hair-reduction area should I book?
Auralia lists extra-small through extra-large areas, plus a facial-hair option for the chin, upper lip and sideburns. Ask the clinic which category covers your intended area and what is included before selecting an appointment.
Before your visitDo I need to shave before my appointment?
Shaving may be part of preparation, but the exact timing and area should be confirmed with Auralia. Tell the team which area you want treated and follow their instructions rather than assuming every appointment uses the same shaving schedule.
Before your visitCan I have IPL if I have a tan or have used self-tanner?
Tell the clinic about sun exposure, tanning beds and self-tanning products before the appointment. Tanned skin may need treatment postponed. Avoid tanning during the course and follow our aesthetician’s sun-protection instructions.
The basicsWhy do I need repeated hair-reduction appointments?
Hair does not all grow in the same phase, so a course is usually needed. Manufacturer guidance commonly describes six to ten visits, with approximately four to six weeks between facial visits and four to eight weeks for body areas. Our aesthetician adjusts the schedule to your hair growth and response.
During treatmentWhat does IPL hair reduction feel like?
You may feel brief warmth or a snapping sensation as the applicator is used. Cooling helps support comfort, but sensitive areas can still be uncomfortable. Tell our aesthetician if you need a pause or if the sensation becomes too strong.
The basicsDoes it remove every hair permanently?
The aim is long-term reduction in hair growth, not a guarantee that every hair will disappear permanently. Response varies and some regrowth or maintenance visits may occur. Discuss realistic expectations for your hair type and treatment area.
AftercareWhat should I avoid after IPL hair reduction?
Avoid tanning and follow the recommended sun protection and skincare. The manual advises avoiding hot baths and massage on the area for the first two days. Our aesthetician will confirm when exercise, heat-based activities and products are suitable for your skin.
VENUS VERSA PRO
IPL photofacial
Selected pigmentation, visible redness and treatment preparation.
The basicsWhat is an IPL photofacial used for?
It may be considered for selected pigmentation and visible vascular concerns after assessment. Light is absorbed by targets such as pigment or blood in visible vessels. A photofacial is not the same as a cleansing facial, and not every brown spot or type of redness should be treated with IPL.
Before your visitCan IPL be discussed for areas beyond the face?
Yes. Auralia’s Jane catalogue includes full-face, neck, low-neckline/décolleté and hands options. Our aesthetician assesses each area and confirms the concern, coverage and suitability before treatment.
AftercareWhy can treated brown spots look darker at first?
Selected treated pigment can darken before it flakes or fades. This may remain visible for around ten to fourteen days, with timing varying by skin and treatment. Do not pick or scrub it away. Contact the clinic about blistering, open skin or a worsening reaction.
During treatmentWhat does a photofacial appointment feel like?
Brief warmth or a snapping sensation may occur. Cooling and protective eyewear are part of the treatment process. Comfort varies, so let our aesthetician know immediately if the sensation feels too strong.
The basicsHow long is a photofacial, and how far apart are visits?
The treatment portion is 15–20 mins, depending on the area. Auralia describes courses of approximately four to six visits spaced three to four weeks apart. These are planning estimates; our aesthetician confirms the actual plan.
AftercareCan I return to work even if there are visible skin changes?
Many clients return to ordinary activities soon afterward, but redness, warmth, swelling or temporary pigment darkening may still be visible. Plan social events around the expected changes for your treatment rather than assuming that returning to work means your skin will look unchanged.
Before your visitHow should I prepare my skin for IPL photofacial?
Avoid tanning and tell the clinic about self-tanner, recent procedures and your current products or medicines. The treatment area should be clean and free of makeup and other products when treated. Ask which skincare products to pause and for how long.
AftercareWhat does general IPL photofacial aftercare involve?
Follow our aesthetician’s sun-protection and gentle-skincare instructions. Avoid tanning; the manual also advises avoiding hot baths and massage for the first two days. Ask when makeup and active skincare are appropriate if your skin remains irritated.
Before your visitCan a website tell me whether my dark spot or redness is suitable?
No. A spot or skin change needs an appropriate assessment before cosmetic treatment is considered. Do not use a photo or symptom description to diagnose a lesion or decide that IPL is appropriate. Contact the clinic for the right next step.
VENUS VERSA PRO
IPL acne care
Active breakouts, treatment experience and general aftercare.
The basicsWhat is IPL acne care intended to address?
The acne applicator is a light-based option for selected acne concerns. It uses blue and red light components to target acne-related processes. Suitability depends on the type of acne and your skin; other clinical treatment may be needed.
The basicsIs acne treatment the same as acne-scar treatment?
No. Active breakouts and established texture changes or scars are different concerns. Our aesthetician assesses them separately and may discuss a different treatment or sequence for scarring. Do not assume one IPL acne appointment will also treat scars.
The basicsWill IPL resolve the underlying cause of hormonal acne?
That should not be assumed. Acne can have several contributing factors, and light treatment is not a substitute for evaluating them. Our aesthetician can explain whether IPL has a role in your plan or whether medical acne care is more appropriate.
The basicsHow much time and how many acne visits should I expect?
The treatment portion is 15–20 mins. A course may involve visits roughly twice a week for about a month. Our aesthetician will explain the total number of visits and confirm a clear individual schedule before you begin.
During treatmentWhat might IPL acne treatment feel like?
Brief warmth or a snapping sensation can occur. Cooling supports comfort, but the treatment is not guaranteed to be painless. Tell our aesthetician if the sensation becomes uncomfortable.
AftercareCan I restart my usual acne products immediately?
Gentle, non-irritating cleansing may be appropriate, but stronger or irritating products can need a pause. Ask our aesthetician which products to use and when to resume your routine. Do not change prescribed acne medicine without advice from the prescribing clinician.
AftercareWhat should I plan for after IPL acne treatment?
Temporary warmth, redness or sensitivity may occur. Avoid tanning, protect your skin from the sun and follow the written skincare plan. Avoid hot baths and massage on the area for the first two days. Contact the clinic about blistering or an unexpected or worsening reaction.

NanoFractional RF
Skin texture, recovery and caring for healing skin.
The basicsWhat does NanoFractional RF resurfacing do?
The Viva MD applicator delivers radiofrequency energy through an array of small electrodes, creating controlled treatment zones while leaving spaces between them intact. The aim is to support skin remodeling and improve selected texture concerns over time.
The basicsIs NanoFractional RF the same as ordinary microneedling?
No. Conventional microneedling creates mechanical channels. Auralia’s NanoFractional RF is a radiofrequency resurfacing treatment using a tip with small electrodes. It should not be assumed identical to conventional microneedling or every needle-based RF device.
The basicsWhich concerns can I ask about?
Common discussion points include uneven texture, enlarged pores, fine lines and the appearance of acne scars. Our aesthetician confirms whether resurfacing is suitable for the concern and area after reviewing your skin and treatment history.
Before your visitAre Skin Resurfacing and NanoFractional RF separate treatments?
At Auralia these names describe the same treatment category. Jane lists face, neck and face-and-neck options. The treatment boundaries and recovery plan are confirmed during assessment; a face booking does not imply that lips or eyelids are included.
During treatmentWhat does resurfacing feel like, and is numbing used?
You may feel warmth, pressure, a prickling sensation or short zaps. Discomfort varies. A topical numbing product may be used when appropriate, and our aesthetician will explain the preparation and comfort plan before treatment.
The basicsHow many resurfacing treatments will I need?
A series spaced approximately four to six weeks apart may be discussed. There is no single session count for everyone. Our aesthetician will recommend and review a plan based on your concern, recovery and response.
AftercareIs recovery always finished within 24 hours?
No. Redness, warmth and sensitivity can occur, followed by dryness, rough texture or small crusts. These visible changes can last several days or longer depending on the settings and your response. Plan for recovery and ask our aesthetician when normal activities are appropriate.
AftercareWhen can I wash my face, use moisturizer or wear makeup?
Get the written plan for your treatment before leaving. Do not assume your usual skincare or makeup can restart the next day. Timing depends on the skin’s condition and the products used; follow our aesthetician’s directions for cleansing and approved recovery products.
AftercareShould I scrub away rough skin or small crusts?
No. Allow them to shed naturally and avoid picking, scratching, exfoliation and friction. The manual notes that tiny crusts can form within the first few days and remain for several more. Ask the clinic if you are unsure whether a skin change needs assessment.
AftercareWhen can I return to exercise, hot yoga or a hot bath?
Avoid sweating and heat during the initial recovery period, and follow our aesthetician’s return-to-activity instructions. The manual advises avoiding hot baths, massage and trauma to the treated area for the first two days; your skin may need a longer pause.
AftercareHow should I protect healing skin from the sun?
Avoid tanning throughout the course and protect the area from direct sunlight. The manual calls for ongoing sun protection after resurfacing, including at least a month after treatment. Our aesthetician will confirm when the recovering skin can tolerate sunscreen and which product to use.
The basicsWhen will texture changes become visible, and are they permanent?
Skin remodeling takes time, so the result is assessed after recovery and as the skin responds over the following weeks or months. Improvement and its duration vary. Resurfacing does not stop aging, and maintenance or a home-care plan may be discussed.
VENUS VERSA PRO
TriBella
Understanding a combined treatment plan.
The basicsWhat is TriBella?
TriBella is listed by Auralia as a combination of IPL, RF skin tightening and an RF resurfacing component. It is a planned combination of different approaches, rather than three interchangeable names for the same treatment. Our aesthetician confirms the exact applicators and areas.
Before your visitCan I book three separate treatments and combine them myself?
No. Tell our aesthetician which concerns you want to address. They need to assess whether a combined treatment is suitable and determine the sequence and timing. Separate appointments should not be treated as permission to have every component on the same day.
AftercareDoes a combined treatment have the same recovery as a facial?
Not necessarily. A plan that includes resurfacing has different aftercare and recovery considerations from a cleansing facial or RF tightening alone. Ask for one clear preparation and aftercare plan covering all selected components.
Before your visitCan I combine TriBella with Hydrafacial, injectables or other procedures?
Ask our aesthetician before scheduling. Recent injections, peels, energy-based treatments and resurfacing can affect the timing and suitability of another procedure. The appropriate interval is a clinical decision, rather than a universal waiting period from a website.
